Third Grade Music

Hello Third graders! Here are some activities to try at home at your own pace.

Singing solfege challenge (Do, Re, Mi, Sol):

Review of rhythms Ta/quarter notes and rests, Ti-Ti/Ta-Di/Eighth notes, and Ta-ah/Half notes--here labeled as "To-e". Clap or pat along!

Put your rhythm skills to the test with this rhythm video. You can clap, pat, or turn a chair into a drum...I used wooden kitchen spoons as rhythm sticks!

Play a rhythm game here: Match That Rhythm! Listen to the rhythm, figure out the rhythm syllables, then try clicking back the same rhythm. Start with Beginner level then move on to Advanced.

Play a note name game here: Note Names. Remember: Line notes, Every Good Boy Does Fine, and Space notes, FACE.

 Stay healthy, and keep being musical! 
